Amanda's visit! アマンダが遊びに来てくれたよ！

We were sooooo excited to have Amanda over for dinner!! Yes, she visited us all the way from Rhode Island!  Though it had been about 4 years since we saw her in New York, we went right back where we left off and had such a good & comfortable time!  We don't wanna wait another 4 years to see her again in the future!! Open School Night! オープンスクールナイト☆

Tonight, we got to invite our families to our classroom! I was so proud to show all my works! I can't believe that my 1st grade is almost over! I really hope to have good classmates as well as a teacher at 2nd, too! Love,  Miyu

Crystal Cave! クリスタルケイブ（洞窟）☆

Good morning!! We woke up early to start fresh morning! We went on a crystal cave tour! It was easy & beautiful hike down to the cave again! We were gonna go on anther hike, but realized how tired we were. We had lunch break and left Sequoia. It was a great weekend trip! Love, Miyu

おっはよう！今朝も早起きしてきれいな空気をすって気持ちよくスタートしました。最初はクリスタルケイブと言う洞窟のツアーに参加しました。洞窟まで少し歩いたんだけどまたまた大自然のきれいな景色を見ながらたのしかった。本当は、この後もうひとつハイキングに挑戦しようと計画してたんだけどみんな疲れて限界。。。ランチを食べてセコイア公園を出発することにしました。楽しい週末旅行でした。未愉

Gorgeous Sunset! きれいな夕日。

We wrapped our adventurous day with a very beautiful sunset at Sentinel Bridge.  Though we were exhausted from long walks, this sunset completed our day!  Oh, we saw deers by our parking lot, too! Love, Miyu

The best hike!! 最高のハイキング♪

Next, we went up to the long, but wonderful "Tokopah Valley Trail" which is 1.7 miles one way.  We stopped to take many many photos and it was so nice to walk by the river. In the end, beautiful water fall was the best reward!! Love, Miyu

次は、片道２．７２キロのながーいけど一番よかった”トコパバレーハイキング”に挑戦したよ。いっぱい写真を撮るためにちょこちゃこ休憩しながら歩いたし横の川の流れを聞きながらだったから楽しかったよ。頑張って歩いた後のきれいな滝は最高だったよお。未愉

The biggest tree in the world! 世界で一番大きな木☆

Next, we went to see the biggest tree in the world - The general Sherman! Trees there were so big.  We found the tunnel log that car can go through too! Love, Miyu

今度は、世界で一番大きな木”グレイトシェーマン”を見に行ったよ。ここの森の木はみーんなすっごい大きいの。車が通れる大きな木でできたトンネルもあったんだよお。未愉

Trip to Sequoia National Park!! セコイア国立公園！

Holay! We are at Sequoia National park to explore!!! First, we went up to Moro Rock Trail to see the gorgeous view! This was about 1/2 mile easy hike from the bottom to the top, and didn't seems hard because of the beautiful scenery! Love, Miyu

イエ～～ィ、自然を楽しみにセコイア国立公園に遊びにきたよお。最初は、モロロックをを登って素敵な景色を楽しんだよ。このハイキングは片道１キロ弱だったし周りがきれいで気持ちよかったから楽勝だったよ。未愉

Jog-a-thon! マラソン大会☆

Yes, I'm a good runner! I did so well at school jog-a-thon event at school! I run 16 raps in 10 minutes! As a reward, we got to invite family for picnic lunch!  It was nice to eat lunch with Mama & Brigitte! Love, Miyu

Sweet Mother's Day! あま～い母の日。

Happy Mother's day! We had yummy & sweet mother's day at Tanaka Farm:) In stead of the usual Underwood Family farm, we tried this farm for strawberry picking this year! We bought some fresh organic vegetables on our way home, too. I gave mama a picture I drew at home, and English/Japanese letters I wrote at Edison / Asahi. She looked really happy! Love, Miyu

ママ、いつもありがとうね。今日は田中農場でおいしくってあまーい母の日を過ごしたんだ。いつもは、アンダーウッド農場・牧場に行くんだけど今年は違う農場にイチゴ狩りに行ってきたの。そこでできた新鮮で無農薬のお野菜も買ってかえったんだ。ママにはね、お絵かきとエディスンで書いた英語のお手紙、そしてあさひで書いた日本語のお手紙をあげたの。すっごく喜んでくれたよ。未愉

Sushi Party at Keira's! キーラのおうちでお寿司パーティ☆

Since Keira's family love SUSHI, mama taught them from the grocery shopping, preparing the sushi rice and cutting sashimi and rolling California roll! She even showed them how to make Miso soup! They all love them so much! We had salmon, yellow tail, tuna, halibut and scallop!! So yummy! Love, Miyu
